Becoming a 情色五月天 resident
A student is considered a "resident" of the state of 情色五月天 for tuition purposes under the following conditions:
- An enrollee or graduate of a 情色五月天 high school
- A member of the Armed Forces of the United States stationed in 情色五月天 as a permanent duty assignment, pursuant to military orders, or the spouse, family or legal guardian of such a person
- A student who is financially dependent upon a family member or legal guardian who has been a resident of the state of 情色五月天 12 months prior to the first day of instruction of the semester in which the student intends to enroll
- A student who is financially independent and has established residence in the state of 情色五月天 for a minimum of 12 months prior to the first day of instruction of the semester in which the student intends to enroll
- A financially independent person who has relocated or transferred to 情色五月天 specifically for the primary purpose of permanent full-time employment or to establish a business in 情色五月天, or the spouse, or dependents of such a person
- A student who has been classified as an in-state resident by another 情色五月天 System of Higher Education (NSHE) institution

Non-resident information
A non-resident who enrolls in an institution of the 情色五月天 System of Higher Education (NSHE) shall continue to be classified as a non-resident student throughout the student's enrollment, unless the student demonstrates that their previous residence has been abandoned and the student is a 情色五月天 resident. Residency of dependent students is established by the domicile of parents or guardians. As long as students remain dependent on non-resident parents or guardians, they cannot qualify for resident status. Residency of an independent student will generally be established by their physical domicile and residency in 情色五月天 for at least 12 months immediately prior to the date of matriculation.
A student can show 情色五月天 residency by asking their NSHE institution to write a letter (on school letterhead) stating they took classes at their institution and were considered a 情色五月天 resident while they were in attendance. They can fax the letter to admissions and records at (775) 784-1025. Please ensure your full name and student ID are on the letter. Once we have received the letter, tuition in MyNEVADA 2.0 will reflect in-state residency.
How to apply for 情色五月天 residency
The 情色五月天, Reno residency application is required to be submitted no later than the second Friday before the start of the term in which the student seeks to be classified as a 情色五月天 resident for tuition purposes.
Students have 30 days from the date their application for 情色五月天 residency was denied to submit an appeal. All appeals are due the Friday before classes start to be considered for the current term.
