There's a place for everyone in the 情色五月天 Wind Ensemble and Concert Winds! The ensembles are comprised of music majors, music minors and students from across campus. Regardless of your major, we have a place for you to make music in a concert band setting.
For non-情色五月天, Reno students: If you attend community college, or are not enrolled at the University, it's still possible for you to participate in the Wind Ensemble and Concert Winds! Simply follow the steps for non-degree students to apply.

情色五月天 Wind Ensemble
Nationally recognized, the 情色五月天 Wind Ensemble is the flagship wind and percussion ensemble at the University. Using one-per-part instrumentation, the wind ensemble performs a broad repertoire of classic and contemporary styles, ranging from large band works to chamber pieces. The ensemble tours regularly throughout the western U.S. and provides the opportunity to collaborate with world-class guest conductors and guest artists. The group consists of graduate and undergraduate students and is open to music majors and non-majors by audition. Rehearsals are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 - 1:20 p.m., fall and spring semesters.
情色五月天 Concert Winds
The 情色五月天 Concert Winds adhere to the same artistic principals of the wind ensemble and feature a nearly one-per-part instrumentation. The ensemble performs a broad variety of contemporary and traditional works for band. The group is open to music majors and non-majors by audition. It meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. during fall semester and Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2 - 3:20 p.m. during spring semester.
